Andres Ricardo Gomez Restrepo is a Full-Stack Developer with a passion for innovation, creativity, and technology. He enjoys learning new technologies and evolving from the basics of web development to React, Next, Typescript, and more. With experience in both front-end and back-end development, he feels a predilection for the interaction with the user and how the visual interfaces create unique experiences with them. As a team player, Andres continuously looks for a place where he can learn and share his knowledge with others, contribute, and make a difference with the projects he's working on, and add new technologies to his tech stack. Currently, he is working as a Front-end Developer at henry, where he is building an eCommerce platform for anyone starting in the IT world. He is responsible for designing and implementing the logic for the shopping cart, collaborating with the pagination component logic, designing the store page, and rendering the product cards and their details. He is also working on improving the landing page details and adding scroll animations with intersection-observer. Andres has previously worked as a Full-stack Developer at henry, where he developed a full-stack web app, consuming the PokéApi. He worked with relational databases (PostgreSQL specifically) and used Sequelize to connect the database with the server and create the required tables. For the Front-end, he used React.js (for components and structure) and Redux to manage a global scope for the entire app. He also worked as a Full-Stack Teaching Assistant at henry, where he coordinated a group of students to achieve integration into the study group, guided students in the first steps of the course, and assisted in solving exercises and promoting group collaboration (Pair Programming). Andres has a Fullstack Developer degree from Henry and a degree in Cinematography and Film Production from Universidad Manuela Beltrán. He is proficient in Frontend, Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS, Web, Backend, Redux, Research Scientist, and Integration. With 2.43 years of relevant experience, Andres is a skilled Full-Stack Developer who is always eager to learn and grow.
